Il Castagno - The Chestnut Tree
The Chestnut Tree is a 50 sqm apartment on the second floor with a view over the trees of the forest that surround the Locanda. It has a spacious living room with kitchenette , a double sofa bed, dinning table, a spacious double bedroom with wardrobe, dresser , two cosy armchairs and a bathroom with shower. It is for 2-4 people.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you’ll need, including coffee machine for warm drinks too and an electric kettle. The bathroom comes with automatic heated towel rails, hairdryer and free toiletries (Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel) The apartment is equipped with Air Conditioning / Heating, satellite tv and free wifi as well as bed linen and towels
Castagno – Castanea sativa – Famiglia delle Fagacee
Albero ad alto fusto, fino a 30 metri, dicotiledone, con foglie larghe, lanceolate, margini seghettati e nervature prominenti. Lo sviluppo del castagno è inizialmente molto lento e raggiunge il suo splendore vegetativo intorno ai 50 anni. Può vivere oltre i mille anni.

Iovis Glandes, ovvero ghianda di Giove: questo ilsoprannome che diedero i latini alle castagne. Il motivo è che l’albero, con il suo tronco, corto ma possente, e con la sua chioma imponente, evocano il dio supremo.
